Services
Gabrielle Bisson provides counseling services for adults and adolescents experiencing a wide range of difficulties. Services are provided in Listowel. Gabrielle provides treatment for individuals and couples in Listowel, Palmerston, Wingham, Minto, Mount Forest and Area.
Gabrielle is supervised by a registered clinical psychologist, Dr. Erin Ross (Certificate of Registration #5422, The College of Psychologists of Ontario). In situations when I am supervised, I am responsible for making this known to the individual(s) I am treating. At any time you may request to meet, or discuss your treatment, with my supervisor.
Confidentiality
All discussions with me are confidential. Only I and the supervising psychologist will have access to the personal information obtained through this service, such as consultation and progress notes. Nothing will be released to other parties without signed consent, except where required by law. Exceptions include when a client presents clear intentions to harm self or others, in cases of child abuse or neglect, or abuse by a regulated health professional.
Fees
With supervised cases, all fees are made payable to my supervisor. Upon signing this document, you understand that the agreed upon fee for counseling services with myself is set at $120 per session. Additional fees for reports, letters and documentation for legal purposes will be discussed as needed. All consultation notes to physicians, reports or documentation for legal or insurance purposes, and letters required by institutions such as WSIB, or your personal insurer, are co-signed by my supervisor
Cancelled or Missed Appointments
To ensure maximum benefit of counselling, clients should make appointments a priority and should not cancel sessions, except in cases of emergency. Should you be unable to attend, please use the on-line booking system to cancel your session a minimum of 24 hours in advance of your appointment. A cancellation fee of $50 will be charged should less than 24 hours’ notice be provided.
