Kate Jasper (she/her) is a Registered Psychotherapist and Registered Marriage and Family Therapist. Kate offers therapy to couples, families and individual adults and adolescents. Areas of focus in her practice include:

 ASSESSMENT AND THERAPY

Kate utilizes a relational perspective in her work with couples, families and individuals. This means that challenges are explored in the context of relationships. When working with couples and families, the relationship between individuals is the primary focus. Kate utilizes ideas from Emotion Focused and Adlerian Therapy while also pulling from the research completed by the Gottman Institute. When working with individuals, Kate uses Solution Focused Therapy ideas and a client centered approach.

When working with individual clients, Kate is supervised by a registered clinical psychologist, Dr. Erin Ross (Certificate of Registration #5422, The College of Psychologists of Ontario). At any time you may request to meet or to discuss your treatment with her supervisor. Please note, Kate’s work with couples or families is not supervised by Dr. Ross. This may impact whether these services are covered by extended benefits.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Kate Jasper has been providing therapeutic services for over 12 years. She completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at Brock University in 2004 and her Master’s degree in Couple and Family Therapy at the University of Guelph in 2006. Kate is a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and the Canadian Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.  

FEES

Therapy services are $120 per hour (plus HST) payable by e-transfer or credit card. Receipts provided. Services may be covered by extended health benefit packages but it is the responsibility of the client to verify this with their insurer.
