Mary Ross (they/them) is a Registered Psychotherapist. Mary offers individual therapy to adolescents and adults (age 12 and up).

Areas of focus include:

  • Anger and emotional regulation

  • Identity and gender/sexual diversity

  • Spiritually integrated care

THERAPY

Mary assists clients in setting their own therapy goals, operating with the understanding that clients are the experts of their own experiences. With a framework of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mary integrates aspects of post-modern therapy techniques, which focus on creative solutions, and empowerment of self and strengths. Mary prioritizes creating an affirming space for people who identify as 2SLGBTQIA+.

Mary is supervised by a registered clinical psychologist, Dr. Erin Ross (Certificate of Registration #5422, The College of Psychologists of Ontario).  At any time you may request to meet or to discuss your treatment with their supervisor.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Mary comes from a background as a music therapist, having graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in music therapy and certifying as a MTA in 2017. In June 2021, Mary graduated from the Masters of Arts in Spiritual Care and Psychotherapy from Martin Luther University College, and is registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) #10087.

FEES

Therapy sessions are $ 125.00 per hour payable by e-transfer or credit card. Receipts provided following the therapy session. The cost is covered by most extended health benefit packages.
